District Chophouse and Brewery Tour
District Chophouse and Brewery is the oldest continually operating brewery in Washington DC proper! This high-end brewpub opened it’s doors in 1996, in what was once the First Bank of DC. District Chophouse is only a stones throw from our pickup location at 801 F St, which means you don’t have to travel far to taste some of DC’s locally brewed beer. Barrett Lauer is the the brewmaster of District Chophouse and the man who is responsible for it’s eclectic and delicious beer. As we tour their brewing process, guests will enter into the brewhouse aka Barrett’s domain adorned with bobbleheads of our beloved star players of the Washington Capitols, a Simpson’s clock and other fun stuff that enhances the overall quality of the beer. Whether you are looking for a barrel aged Bourbon stout or an easy drinking amber lager, District Chophouse and Brewery has it all.
